Entitlement...its how I roll

Post by vibratoking »

I stumbled on this site by accident. I don't know anything about tube amps and I hate learning, but I have a lot of questions. When I ask them, I want answers. And I want them now, no matter how stupidly I present myself.

Incidentally, I play guitar too. How do I get my guitar to sound like the pros do?

Do like I do: Let the pros play 'em. Then they sound great!

You forgot to make your first post a 'for sale'

Hi

"Helping a guy fix an amp is one thing, providing a technical education is very different IMO. The forum has been through similar situations in the past. It never seems to turn out well."

I thought you put that well.

take care....

IF you didn't feel so entitled and that you deserved an answer immediately, you would have realized with a little work that there is a "search" function.

A little digging resulted in these items that may help your quest for tone:

Don't know IF this will fit your amp or not? I'm guessing that it is a Bugera that has been discussed over at TGP as the greatest amp....

http://www.amazon.com/AudioQuest-NRG-WE ... B0055OM9WS

found in the thread here for more learning:

https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... er&start=0

This "tone" knob should be a universal fit:

https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... =tone+knob

Finally, as an attempt to teach how to use the aforementioned search function, it is possible to search with "and" like this: "talent and switch"

By the way - keeping the humor in this thread and that today is Ground Hog's day - keep asking the same question over and over and over and over and over.... :P

Larry for the setup and John for the win.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

I bought this four channel Plexi/HRM/SD60/Express amp from Torres and the notes are fizzy.

I have a gig tonight. How do I fix this? Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

Try rerouting the green wire. Try not to move anything else.

Okay, that monkey video got really weird—reminds me of studying chemistry when I was younger.

A genuine point-to-point layout.

Try building that on a turret board.
