LAR-MAR pre phase inverter question

Post by markmalin »

Hey guys,

I'm using a LAR-MAR style PPI master volume on a circuit similar to an AB763. Started wondering, though.... revering to the diagram attached, the note says "to pins 5" of the output tubes. Does that assume on a standard AB763 you would connect this like the normal PI output, to the 1.5k resistor on pin 5 of the power tube, or are is this saying to remove the 1.5k?

Humbly,
Mark.

You want to keep the grid resistors.
