My clone list

Post by M Fowler »

I don't consider these clones rather learning tools and good sounding amps.

Anyways here is a list of the amps I've built since I joined Ampgarage and I've enjoyed everyone of them. I have many more yet to complete so the list will grow.

Happy New Years to all.

Mark

Probably be a lot shorter list if you listed the amps you haven't built. :P

I had to update the list I noticed I didn't give Martin Manning credit for a PCB Express build or include some rjguitar project amps

Wow Mark, that's a lot of amps! Which one is your favorite? (I realize that is like asking which one of your children is your favorite - they all are!).
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

Holy Pile of Amps, Batman

You must have a warm bat-cave to work on amps during those MN winters!

 Yes I know I had it bad, I don't build fast anymore and probably a good thing. :)

I play my Reverb Rocket a lot it sounds so good and I've probably gig the most with it using a Les Paul. It is TW Rocket/Normster reverb with octal power tubes, foot switched boost, and Watts control pot on the PI bias resistor. I like 6550 tubes in it the best.

My next favorite is the Hot Rod Plexi (HRP) based on DBM #39 AFD 100w. Also, the JCM 800 amps all are kick ass even the 18w version.

Mark did all this mostly in the dark, mostly before breakfast.
