easier PPIMV (Post-Phase-Inverter-Master-Volume) ?
Is it possible to just bleed off signal between the phase inverter coupling caps and the bias resistors? So instead of removing the bias resistors and adding a dual gang pot- I could just bleed off signal with two resistors to ground.(value to be determined) I'm asking not telling, stupid idea? would it work?

Yea I've used type 3 but that is canceling the two sides out to lower the volume. I wanted to send the signal to ground- I guess I'm confused about this.
