Normally, fuzz pedal(s) and Dumble type amp(s) not sound good ... but somehow this sounds nice to me?

I´m still learning how to use D style amp and strat´s :D

Sam,

It sounds amazing!! However, I bet with your fingers anything sounds pretty damn good!

I like fuzz pedals into my d'clone, with a strat, but not so much with H/B's.

What kind of volume level are you playing at?

BTW, how does the Couger feel compared to Peter L's amp?

Cheers,

Paul.

Have you experimented with the FET input. There are tonal possibilities there that many builders and players overlook. Especially in terms of single coil pickups.

I tweaked the FET input to my HRM and now the FET is my favorite input on that amp. I then went back and re-did the FET circuit for another amp based on what I learned.

Great tones. Cool to hear an amp that Gil had a hand in. Sure break the rules, sounds wonderful.

Thanks, it was "gig" volume, quite loud but I always record and play loud coz I like "feel" it :)

Peter L´s amp has much much more gain and it´s louder also, very different..
