New Test Equipment day part 2!

Post by beasleybodyshop »

Picked up a bunch of test equipment today at my local thrift shop. I guess some old Ham died, or gave up, lol. I have been hunting for an Eico 950B and what luck! i found one randomly! also found an eico RF signal generator, Sencore in circuit transistor/diode tester, and 2 (!) military audio oscillators. All for the paltry sum of 40 bucks! Look at the Power transformer in that thing!

I have approximately absolutely ZERO thrift stores of this kind in my 'hood. Very cool.

That oscillator is pretty awesome. Definitely going to convert it into some kind of amp. Would make a good bass amp candidate.

I had that same Heathkit VTVM meter.

I was about 14 when I built it from the kit.

Wow! That's starting to look like my basement when I was a kid and my Dad was into this stuff. Nice....

Good score. Hamfest's are a good place to pickup old tube test equipment very cheap.

Very nice score...

I have one of those 324s that I haven't figured out what to do with yet.

I also have one of those 950Bs and I love it!
