Toggle recommendations please

I've been using the NKK switches for over 10 years with no failures, and I think the switching effort is "just right", once you mount it in an amp.

I recently tried a larger 250V-rated toggle that was so stiff, I could lift the combo amp off the ground by the power switch before it switched

Another thing I like about the NKKs is the large solder lugs, which come in handy when soldering pilot lights, etc.

Here are 2 NKKs in a simple 18W pcb amp, and they switch easily, but with a nice solid "click":

I've always wanted to try that brand out.

I have always liked switching both sides of AC on the power switch.

But unfortunately I fall back on Carling switches for amps.

Same for me...NKK switches. Very solid with a hard, loud snap when you toggle them. I've never had one failure and won't use anything of lesser quality. I'm not interested in saving money where handling and switching voltages are concerned.

Which particular model do you use?

Luckily, I have both the SPDT and DPDT switches handy.

The SPDT is S-2A, rating is 15A@125VAC, 6A@250VAC

DPDT is S-6A (same as listed by others above), 10A@250VAC, 20A@125VAC
