Actually two of them. See anything wrong with the pic of the single tube?

So that tallest tube is a recto it would seem?

No Steve, they're all 6L6s, just different brands. But look close at the single tube pic.

help my ocd won't let me look away from the slight angle of the getter and what is worse is not being able to see the other one to make sure they are both identical

it looks like it pooped itself. i can see tube poop coming over the edge of the base..

You're onto it Miles. Note it is below the level of the upper mica, and not anywhere near the silver flash. In a word, loose.

Being late the party has its advantages. Am I seeing a halo getter that bent over and crashed into the side of the tube? Whoa!

Bingo! We have a winnah!!!

Loose parts aren't exactly uncommon in tubes, especially old ones, but this getter fell down and can't get back up!

Yeah, I think we have to give this one to Miles. He said it "pooped itself." I think that would qualify under standard game show rules (think wait, wait, don't tell me, on NPR.)

As an amateur, may opportunity to see something like this is limited. I was surprised by it.

Well yeah, it has an ugly substance oozing out of that seam but I was actually referring to the misplaced getter.

I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,
