Difference beween PVC's and mettalized malory's

Post by riscado »

When people refer to the caps used in trainwrecks, they usually refer to polyester film, I'm wondering, regular m150 mallory's are mettalized polyester film, so shouldn't they be the same type of cap, much like sozo's appear to be similar to PVC's?

thanks

Riscado, in the 'wrecks, I find the M150's and Sozo's a little dark and muffled. The PVC's are much more clear sounding.

when I changed from M150's to PVC I found that the sound was well defined and a bit rounder and full.
But I tested it al low volume in my bedroom...
Now I have teh PVc ones and I'll not come back..
