#2 is a clone of #1 now I have to detune #2 it's too loud on volume one.
B+1 is 380V so I can use any vintage 6V6. The final annalists the CONN OPT and the PI change with the tweed Deluxe 330-0-330 PT low voltage. JJ/Telefunken GZ34-TK JJ6V6-S GE 7025 V-1 Mullard 12AX7 V-2
played it three hours at band practice after one hour of play time it turned into a harmonic generator.
Thanks' to all time to move on. Finish the 100 and 150 SSS amps that I will never use too loud and heavy.
I will use the D Deluxe amps every day. Is the Deluxe the best sounding amp I own far from it.
When we play a gig most of the time 15min. set up time and sound check and play.
No Dumbelator, Air brake, too mess with. That gives me time to tune my guitars.

So you minor PI mod turned this into a great sounding amp. Can I assume then that the diagram you posted showing the PI components is the way to go?

Cheers and thanks for sharing your experiences with us. :D

The JJ/6V6-S were a bit harsh just put in a pair of NOS Mazda 6V6GT
smoothed the amp out to pure sweetness.

67 plexi, or anyone else that has built this circuit: are there any clips available to hear what it does? I have been lurking waiting to hear it before I go after my 5E3 with a soldering iron.
