Resistor,cap=frequency on-line calculator
Hey people does anybody knows web site that has a calculator like the one on the photo below, resistor and cap in series and it gives you frequency boost in decibels, also for the parallel connection too, thanks.

Try Google for RC calculator. I found this. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?

There are other things out there.

Any frequency dependant effects are controlled by the source circuit that feeds the RC and the load circuit that follows.a calculator like the one on the photo below, resistor and cap in series and it gives you frequency boost in decibels, also for the parallel connection too
eg if there's a perfect voltage amp either side then the response will be flat.

Phil_S no that is not it, what you got is a Hi pass Lo pass calculator.. I searched on line but could not find it, I need the calculator that made that screen capture I got there.....

This graph is from one of my Spice simulations. It was published together with a schematic and copyright notice. By cutting out the graph and uploading it you have broken copyright laws. Please remove it immediately.

Yesss it was you
Now I remember, here is the tread: https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... c&start=45
Sorry I did not mean to upset you, I just saw it in my comp. and I could not remember where I got it from and thought how I need simulation like that. I have removed it to make you happy, no problem, but it's still sitting in that tread. You have published it last year and I do not see any copyright notice or anything, but anyway I did remove it here..
Anyway that's what I was looking for
So it's called Spice
Ok thanks, I was wondering what it is. I will download it on-line.

Since 1989 the copyright symbol is optional and does not need to be included for a copyright to be valid.
"I could not remember where I got it," or "I only borrowed a little piece of it" is a common excuse I hear from students who plagiarize and subsequently earn an "F".

Eh, it's not that simple really. "SPICE" isn't simply a piece of software, it's a standard for describing circuits in a text-based language that is interpreted by circuit simulators. You draw a circuit up in your simulator of choice and then the simulator automagically outputs a text-based file with all of the parts and connections you drew up annotated in the proper format. The simulator then takes this netlist, puts all of the variables (voltages and currents you are seeking) into a huge matrix equation and solves for the unknown values. It doesn't really solve for exact results though, it keeps guessing and checking until it gets what is considered "good enough" results (as defined by you in the simulator accuracy setup, although for most cases the default setup is good enough).Emetal wrote:Yesss it was youNow I remember, here is the tread: https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.ph ... c&start=45

Hope all of that makes sense, probably not necessary to describe everything in this level of detail but it's always interesting to discuss the workings (and downfalls) of simulators. The better you understand how they work, the more you will know when to trust results and when you're being lied to.
You can try starting with LTSpice, but others may have better recommendations for free simulators that work better for what we are doing. I know LTSpice is really optimized for switching-type circuits and we are working with relatively linear, continuous time circuits.

Thanks Cliff, I just noticed myself it's far from being easy
Well, I'll play around and try to figure out..
In a mean time I stumbled across great Tone Stack Calculator if anybody needs: http://www.duncanamps.com/tsc/ Have fun

Jana if you did not notice, that thread where the graph was published was MY THREAD, Vacuum Voodoo answered my question by GIVING ME that graph as an answer, and I have thanked him on the next page of the thread. That was a year ago and now I simply needed to know what software made that graph. Please read the thread...Jana wrote:Since 1989 the copyright symbol is optional and does not need to be included for a copyright to be valid.
