I looked for pics on the Internet, without luck.
Wish I could have gotten a better shot.
I guess my 8 year old camera is obsolete.....just like all other electronic devices built after 1975.
Anyway.....see the fuse on the left. I believe that to be in new condition. The one on the right is F'd Up, and will be replaced.
But I am curious...can you see how the the solder lug on the side (not the center tip) looks like it has been cut.?
Even harder to see is where it meets the body of the fuse...about 1/2 of the lug is turned up at 90 degrees.
The spares I have do not look anything like these.
Fock...!!
I took 9 different pictures and this is the "best" one.
Can you guys see what I am wondering about.
Maybe I can look on the computer again, and find a match.
Thank You

Re: fuse holder
Not sure what the question is, but the ESKA fuse holder " 602.400, E 6024, Feinsicherungshalter " looks like that one on the left of your picture.
It is the middle one in the attatched pdf data sheet.
The image shows it in the foreground and, for comparison, the remains of a typical Littlefuse from a '64 Fender behind.
How did I do?

Re: fuse holder
Awesome...what language is that.?
Yes...that is the style.
Why do the make the solder lugs like that.? Just an easy way to keep it from pulling out.?
The one I am replacing is about to fail. Looks like it was bent a few times, at that cut, and the lug is about ready to fall off.
Thanks

Re: fuse holder
German language. They will be made that way because of a European Directive, for sure.
It is much easier to pass laws on things like that, such as the EU norm for the tractor seat, rather than getting each and every federal community to agree on anything of any real importance.
Sorry that yours are breaking at those points, but the Eurocrats did not envision anyone fiddling with their Sicherungshalter.
By the way: the old Littlefuse ones (fender BF) are listed as end of production on Mouser.

Re: fuse holder
The cameras probably fine but using the flash isn't. Turn the flash off and if the room light isn't bright enough augment with a bench top task light that you can wrangle in close.
