I was impressed with the great cleans and also crunchy OD I got out of it. The tube recto is always cool too

Thanks David. I bought the pricey ones from Newark in order to ship the amp sooner...then the 50 I bought off Of eBay for $20 showed up the next day...and look identical!

The Newark knobs were def nicer...they were really shiny and very well made.

Beautiful build Taylor!! Of course you do have the ultimate source for spectacular cabinets... Not to derail but where did you source those cool knobs?

Thanks guys! I just built another one of these, more of a skyliner preamp though, still tube recto with 6v6

I got the knobs from Newark. They look incredible, but are $3 each!!

You can get lookalike skirted knobs off eBay that look the same but the quality isn't quite there...but hey, it's a knob, so to each his own. I do admit $3/knob is pure insanity

Here's the latest one, with matching cab. I took this pic today

I paid $204 for 4 of these - so don't feel bad.
