Long shot request

Post by kkregsg »

OK, I realize this request is akin to asking if anyone has a spare unicorn they'd like to get rid of, but here goes: I'm looking for a copy of Merlin Blencowe's Power Supply book. Preferably at a price that isn't funding someone's new Ferrari. I've watched a few used copies of it on Amazon drop from $1,000+ to $246 or so, but that's way above my bank account. I understand Merlin's withdrawing it, but I'm pretty sure my library would be better with a copy of it. Anyone have a spare copy gathering dust on a shelf?

Wow! I posted on another amp forum, and immediately got a response from someone offering to send me one for free, so please disregard.

Congrats! When I saw it was going out, I bought it on iTunes. Not as nice as having a hard copy, but at least I have it.

Wtf!? Wow! as an owner of a hardback copy of both of his books, I had no idea of the situation with the PS book being out of print...and demand being so high! I might just have a new way to help fund the kid's college tuition. Although, as much as I could use the extra money, I don't think I would sell mine. I reference it quite often.

Yes!, Congratulations finding a copy!

Yes, I was a little shocked when I started looking for a used copy a while back. So I was very pleasantly surprised when a builder replied that he'd gleaned what he needed from it, and was happy to help out. After being occasionally wedgied by the universe, I was happy to have this one work out in my favor. Rest assured I will pass the kindness along when I can. Wow, the Golden Rule still works! Who'd a thunk it?
