I also would like to see the stones in berlin - although I need the ticket and a 1100$ plane ticket - so please send money to me.

I'm not a student - been working for many years, and I cant afford to go see them even when its local. Dumb$hit$ like the stones managers have not yet figured out that now only the mega-wealthy can even afford to go to a simple concert.

They priced me out of concerts - probably never go to another one again in my life at the current pricing structure.

I can retire or see a few concerts...pretty easy choice.

yep, get a job.

After having seen their Super Bowl Half Time Show several years ago, there is no way I would pay to see them. Not even $25 for both my wife and I. They absolutely sucked! And by now, I imagine they are even worse. My guess is, if they were to charge a reasonable fee for their concerts, their attendance wouldn't be that much greater, so why not charge five times the going rate, and make four times more than you would if you charged the going rate?

Been to a few arena rock events.

Now I only go to events in small clubs.

If a concert needs a giant video screen for you to see whats happening on stage, you should be watching on tv at home.

In the 60s and 70s they used to be such a good raw rock band. Epitomized everything that was rock n roll IMO. I used to go every 3 years if you know what I mean.

I saw the Scorsese produced Shine A Light on PBS. That Shine A Light thing is embarrassing for them and depressing for me. Keith's playing is just horrible. He's forgotten every good lick and his fingers are so disfigured that it's a wonder he can play at all. And without Keith that band blows. It's over...

You guys are cracking me up.

My brother-in-law was just talking the other day about how he saw them on their first farewell tour.

They gotta be hurtin' though, I remember when I could only afford 5 strings for my guitar.

LOL It's kind of like only being able to afford three tires for your car: "sell me three and keep the best of the four on the car - put that one wherever it makes the most sense. :-)

I saw the Steel Wheels tour in 1989. They were incredible. We're were amazed how an old guy like Jagger could move around like that in his middle forties. He's now, what, 70?

You guys are a bunch of cruel bitches....
Talking about disappointing concerts by artists well past "consume before date".
B.B. King a couple years ago, a farewell tour. Bad jokes, boring playing.
But kudos for having the guts to play as the last song, fittingly enough,
"The thrill is gone" . Yes, it is. Well, kudos for getting up on stage at all.

Speaking of which, I never got to ask you how that Procol Harum concert went last October, you said you planned to go. I heard the Hammond/Leslie (probably hired gear) failed part way thru but no nevermind, on with the show. I'd go see that band, unless you give 'em an awful drubbing.
