Well my little red weller was a poorly built peice of shit that I wasted 50 bucks on.
Like I said it lasted through one tip.I was just gonna replace the heater but it was almost as much as the station.
So ya i'm that guy now

Been using Black Jack for the past three years. Very good, cheap, no complaints. Uses standard replaceable handle, heating element and tips:

I love my Hakko station. The Weller that I had was a piece of crap and went through tips like crazy. The Hakko rocks.

I have the same hakko at work and the previous modal at home. Great irons, they heat up in like 30 seconds and stay hot.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. has 5 presets not temp up and down.

I f'd up the offset on mine and had to buy $150 tip thermometer to get mine back to the correct temperature.
