Marshall Master Volume

Post by Littlewyan »

On a four input Marshall has anyone ever replaced one of the inputs with a master volume knob? Using the Larmar PPIMV (Ken Fischer) Master Volume specifically. Obviously you'd need to use shielded cable but even then I'm wondering if it would interfere badly with the inputs.

Really? Have you got any pics? I would have thought the grid wires would have caused a lot of buzzing being right next to the input jacks.

Why not install on rear panel, I've just open a little hole on rear in order to avoid damage original aestetic...

Well I didn't want to drill any holes in case I want to take it out. I think I'll try it in one of the inputs, if it doesn't work out I'll replace one of the speaker jacks.
