Class A EL-84 dumble circuit

Post by groovtubin »

Talk @ throwin in a few different era`s! This one has @ (3) piled in, and Cathode biased EL-84`s Circuit is like 183 sorta! :) Ya never know what might happen w/these things! Its got all blues Jr trannies at that! Like ta thow in a Allen deluxe power tranny , a marshall 50 watt OT, and EL-34`s, and get things really cookin! lol! Just a prototype, so it`s barely hanging in there! lol!

Was it loud?
Had the impression you cut it down, just before it wanted to take off in feedback.

OD sounded great. Tight.

Hi! Yes, and thank you! If you single note it, or hold the chord it wil def BLOOM! It is VERY alive in a nice way! So far it`s my FAV sound, i need ta do one just playing sgle note lead lines dialed im, just great! This amp has really tickled me! SOmetimes everything works out, but i`m def gonna build this on a big block! Should be tasty, and go w/EL-34`s..

Tubedog i hope they all come together for you! Chasin amps reminds me of chasin women back in the 80`s, but the amp just seems to last longer! lol!
