Is everybody stuck on .002?
Regarding the posted schematic, the value option reads .001 -.01 but there's that .002 preference from Allyn in the fine print.
I have seen no gut shot pics of a Liverpool built by Ken. Are there any and what value does it show for this cap?

Coupling cap value preference, Liverpool V2?

Re: Coupling cap value preference, Liverpool V2?
No, not stuck on it. 0.001-0.0022 (or even a little more
). Got a slow Liverpool build on the bench and plan on adding a ceramic in parallel with that coupling cap to go a little fatter.
Re: Coupling cap value preference, Liverpool V2?
The ceramic 0.0022 in parallel must be more common in Liverpool than express and so is the 820ohm resistor solder to pin 1 V1. I think Ken wrote in a letter to Glen that later Liverpools all had the 820ohm resistor there. I actually use that resistor in my express and like it. I put the ceramic cap in parallel with the 0.0022 but I didn't like it as much. I think lead dress of the wires that run to the eq pots is way more important to not make the amp as bright!
Re: Coupling cap value preference, Liverpool V2?
Thanks, guys. I guess there is a pretty specific path, and I get that. FWIW, I've never built a Liverpool, just the Express and the Rocket.
Anybody else with a Liverpool build using something else for the V2 coupling cap?
AS a sidebar, does anybody have an estimate of how many Liverpools Ken produced? More than 20?
