I thought that too but it is good. It is however some recycled coax I had laying around. The other ends are all heat shrinked away from the center conductor. I was checking the bias circuit this morning, I only have about -31V after the rectification diode. Could be a problem too. Transformer was pulled from a '57 console radio that ran 8 tubes. Going to build an audio probe to check the signal path as well.
