I wore my "Lamb" album out. Wish I could've seen that performance. "Watcher of the Skies" and "Dance On a Volcano" is another good one - really All the early stuff (Gabriel) is Excellent.

Yes, that makes sense.

Mickey Marchello of The Good Rats had one back in that era, but his was modified. It was stand mounted so he could manipulate controls with hands instead of feet.

Those were the days.

And...

Another guy from that same period I like is the leader of King Crimson:
Robert Fripp. I saw that Bruford band many times and they always killed it.

@ JoeCon,

Yep, Fripp is amazing. Saw him with King Crimson on the Discipline tour at the Agora Ballroom in Atlanta, with Adrian Bellew, Bill Bruford, and Tony Levin. They played the entire album, note perfect. Fantastic!

There's a video on YouTube of and about R. Fripp. He's a fantastic guitarist, of course, and a very interesting individual as well. I don't have the link right now but it's an easy search.

An old friend just sent me a load of CD's he ripped. Right now I'm listening to a live Led Zeppelin album from 1972 that is really great. I don't have a cover or any liner notes, so I'm not sure what it is.

Anybody familiar with a live Led Zep from 72? It knocks the socks off the Song Remains the Same.
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?
