I saw this at TGP.
Interesting, supposedly a different Chinese tube manufacturer.
Are these current limiters on the burn in machine?

I believe these tubes originate from that facility.

Re: Tubes
Last time I looked, the 12AX7's were going for $58, so the price is finally coming down. I figure they reject 100 for every one they sell... Still, at $48, they are way too spendy for a current production Chinese tube.

Re: Tubes
I think renshen1957 mentioned these a couple months ago. Yes the price is ridiculous. If I'm not mistaken these are the 12AX7 currently reprinted with McIntosh logo for their hifi amps. Are they 5x better than Shuguang's best? or JJ's HG+ Ruby super-select? I'll find out when I feel rich enough.
down technical blind alleys . . .
Re: Tubes
God knows what would cost in Blighty, we seem to pay half again as much for everything, fortunately I have a good supplier of NOS EI Yugoslavian tubes, even scrapping 1 in 10 for micro phonics it works out cheaper than select tubes from HotRox
