Anyone build an Orange?

Will be taking the machine down to my workshop this weekend - I'll take more detailed pics and check where the FAQ is. I also think that on these old versions, the FAQ is right at the start, which means it has more of an effect on the sound - the later versions are more polite - but I will check.

Well that's interesting as the schematics I can find for 1972 show the FAC after the first AND second triode. There's a coupling cap and then the FAC off that second triode. And it's after the tone stack and volume control. But on the faceplate the FAC is first in line. But again these things were changed on the fly so only you can be sure.
