20 Historic Black and White Photos Colorized

Post by Structo »

Saw this today and thought it was pretty cool.
I have done this before with vintage family photos.

I love the one with Joseph Goebbels after finding out he is Jewish.

The only time I have seen a use for doing such a thing. It looks real now.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Oh myyy...ay-yai-yi - cookin' with Audrey Hepburn. In Technicolor no less. (Pardon me whilst I bite my lip.) Geeze. Well at least I got the stove.

Liz Taylor: smokin' hot too.

Now ya got "Kodachrome" stuck in my brain. Makes everythin' look like a sunny day - Paul Simon was right. By comparison B&W makes everythin' look like a rainy day. Hats off to the colorists - they did a great job.

Audrey Hepburn barefoot in the kitchen...a picture is worth a thousand words and it doesn't even need color.

Notice the "unemployed lumber worker" has his SSN tattooed on his arm? The general store looks like one that's not too far from here in Rabbit Hash, KY. An yea, young Audrey Hepburn is cuter 'n a bugs ear.

My older cousin recently sent me some Kodachrome color slides of my family members.

Here is my dad, probably around 1955 at Diamond Lake Oregon complete with a Coco Cola cooler and his Rainbow Trout catch.
