This year has seen load of repair work, so building hasn't been a priority. But, given the economy, only one client has really wanted a build. Here it is. I used Princeton Reverb size chassis and up-powered iron from Allen amps and put them into a PR cab the client built. He liked the Brownface look, so I went with the tolex/grille cloth combo you see. The faceplate is powder coated/engraved/paint filled from Front Panel Express.
As you can see by the gut shots, it's pretty straightforward Fender style, but without tremolo. PPPMV for more volume control. Runs either 6V6 or 6L6 bottles.
This amp is for Brian Patrick of The Brian Patrick Band. I think this takes him to five amps I've built, plus his modded Pro Reverb. He's one of my favorite clients.

Very nice! And how is that PPIMV on there? Does it get you some good single-coil grind at reasonable levels?

Brian's main guitars are Teles and an SG with Burstbuckers. The MV lets him dial in what he needs for the venue. Most venues want less and less stage volume, so a good MV is pretty much a must these days.
