It is cool. What would you reasonably pay?

Considering it's probably a scrap tube that failed testing, maybe $15 over the going price for a flash drive that size - volume is king and I can't see this pushing a high enough run rate to get much below that.

Oh yes. Better if they can be used in an amp as well, in addition to serving as a USB. I'd buy one at that price. Then I'd download music with my amp and turn the tube around and put the music in there, turn it back around and back to playing the solo for Alright Now. :)

I like it. I don't have the bucks handy right now but I'd take one for sure. It's too bad it doesn't come in a more natural glow color. With the plate glowing too.

It certainly fits the steam punk ethic; Take something that was expensive to make that used to perform some meaningful task but is now basically useless, add some brass and make it perform some meaningless task that could be done way smaller and cheaper and better by not doing anything at all. At least there's not an oversized dial gauge on it.

Steam punk. Hmm. I like it. Like a three wheel Harley?

Yes. Copper plated with a 2 cyl boiler and a leather strap clutch... and a big dial indicator marked "mileometer" driving up to an airship made of mildewed linen and brass..

In Steamville all the clocks still tick.
