These days I'm using - thanks to a collector who's a close friend of mine - an original ODS 100W with a similar circuit ("classic" TS,"standard" OD, "old style" 100W power supply, Twin iron). And I'm very happy with all the sounds from clean to scream I get with the all original 70ies Strat and the Turner Model 1 ("Lindsey Buckingham version" with piezo-bridge: http://www.rickturnerguitars.com/model- ... hogany.php) I'm using these days. But that's of course just my personal taste.sepulchre wrote:Ah! Then that's what I'll shoot for.

I have a single clone from which I am working. That amp does not handle the differences between HB and SC guitars as well as many other amps I own. Many others have come to the same conclusion. I want to know the root cause for this 'problem'.

Along those lines, I reduced the pot values on my Anderson Hollow T a few days ago and it sounds great through my #102 clones now.
