The downloads section is all working again and in fact new things have been added that weren't there before. The guys involved have done a great job. All those files are a vital resource for anyone wanting to build an 18 Watt style of amp.

sigh.....I used to love that place.

Haven't seen my Gallery over there in a couple years.

Found a couple sound clips of my first 18 watt trem build though.

Nice clips, Greg! Very tasty tones.
I spent a lot of time on 18watt.com when I was just getting started, and it was a great resource.
I was very fortunate to have Richie give me a lot of off-list advice and help with my TMB, and we all know how much Richie contributed to 18watt.com.
Cheers,
Greg

Fun to look back through some of that. Clips sounded good. I haven't been there in a while or looked around.
A lot of really good info was still on the old yahoo site. I don't think a lot of it got moved.
And lately, seemed every time I tried to go there, there was a glitch or something happening, and couldn't get in. Once corrected, it lasted for a while. But always seemed more of a pain to try and just log in.
It use to be one of the first places I went to while drinking my morning coffee, and read through some of the posts.
A few web searches you can see the effect that site has made from its beginning.
I went there to look around, and didn't see any sound files posted there.
I also think some of the amp sites, are not just about amps, but the members that hang out on them can make or break them.

Greg, very nice playing, what reverb are you using?

This was one of the clips that influenced me to build my 18 watter.

The 18 watt forum doesn't appear to have moved on since the brain drain.
Yours Sincerely

Thanks Mark. It was so ling ago i can only guess what I used back then. It was either my ART SGE-T2 or some VST PLUG-in in Cubase. I had a lot of plug-ins so I can't say which one.

It appears that 18watt.com is down again. I have been trying to log in over there all day and I can't get past the login screen.

I was just at 18watt.com and everything was OK for me ... when it was rebuilt things got messed up ... some things got lost a couple years ago when a forum software update went south ...

18watt.com has a pretty narrow focus so there's not a lot of action anymore ...
