that is a cool way to downsize!

Back in 1980, at the lovely old seaside town of Brighton, Geordie Walker's two visceral Burmans running into 8x10 stacks annihilated rather a large part of my hearing. For five days I coud not hear anything except a sound like the sea. If I listen carefully I can still hear it 33 years later.
Got one of those amps chained to the bench right now for a cap job if anyone wants to see some gut shots.

Oh noes! Hang on to that Burman - rare as rocking horse turds!

HA! '84 Nomis Rehearsal London had Geordie & the boys (Killing Joke) slammin' away. You could tell when they were in - the whole building started to thrummin' like there was a collection of power generators going full blast. And there was... Soundproofing? WHAT soundproofing? WHAT?

Good to see you here Chief, how's things in Peenemunde?

hey Leo
getting ready to move. things are good. working a LOT now. medical device crap and a couple DOD/Army jobs. once I get moved...will be set to start playing again instead of fiddling w/ amps. keeping the Burman..no doubt.
lucky hookup w/ Mark T. he wants me to check all his other gear and I have his HH VS here (he has the '100S now so he doesn't know what he wants to do w/ it). It needs new tone correction module (MAJ Electronics still makes them) and new filter caps...but works great otherwise...if anyone is interested. I'll let him know.

I have absolutely no idea what you are all talking about, but I'm always up for gut shots of anything.

great link!...if you look at the original posting he has links to vids.
I got mine because of the Danny Ash and Gary Green connection.....
Steve Hackett was known to use one occasionally w/ Genesis
killer amp, but my HH MOSFET Studio 60 does everything I need.

I watched all them clips. Thin Lizzy Whisky in the Jar was very well done but I'm just sorry you know. I'll never be with it. I know I'm hopeless. I got an old Lincoln 250 watt AC/DC welder that sounds quite a bit like that amp. Especially when you connect it up to the dog.

Sorry, looser here

Back in the big rack days I saw Mike Landau live. He ran his Plexi into a Juice Extractor feeding an HH power amp with two 4-12 bottoms. I think my kidneys were shifted.
