He's a great player you know, could pretty much do anything.
People are fooled by the Hee-Haw thing.
There's a whole string of he and Joe Pass playing Hank Williams tunes that's kind of cool.

When I was a kid I called up the Jazz teacher and asked him if he could teach me to play like R.C.,Who?He was a power player,He was on an episode of the Beverly Hillbillies,The Odd Couple.Smokin country power licks and I believe he played about 8 instruments. There was a Skynyrd tune off of Street Surviviors,Honky Tonk Nightime Man.Steve Gains breaks into this smokin country lick and you hear Ronnie say "Sounds like Roy" in the track.Anyway yes,big fan of R.C.,love country style tele playing!!

Yep, I always loved Roy's playing as well.
I think he is around 80 years old now.

He used to fly his own jet to gigs.

Yeah Roy is has always been a good player. He's spent a lot of time up north in my area.

Picture is of Roy and my band mate Jennifer on keyboard.

Looks like Roy us overdressed for the occasion. :-)
