I'll never have to work another day of my life!!

Post by Reeltarded »

If I stop spending money and live in the woods!! Just realized I have been approaching this all from the wrong angle.

It's like a reverse mortgage meets winning the lotto.

Notto! My credit score looks like a bias meter on a quad of KT88s.

But then you have to eat potato seeds, and they'll kill you. (Just saw Into the Wild. Recommended.)

yep - stay away from potatos seeds - just chew on live squirrels.

Actually I considered this - cause I figure people used to do it so it must still be possible.

I hear its a lot of work though - and I need some free land!

Best way to get a raise I figure: stop spending money (cause aint noone getting a raise for a long time....)
it really is a journey, and you just cant farm out the battle wounds

You just live in the woods, shoot things and eat them. Works until you have to buy bullets.

If you kept enough aside to keep power, you could electrocute them. Maybe cook 'em at the same time.

What about renewable hunting practices? Things like solar or wind turbine hunting?

There must be a physically impossible way to do everything just because I would like to do it. You know, modern life.

How long would you have to hold a magnifying glass at the perfect focal point to take down a cow... or even giant river otter?

Just build a log cabin.
chop and split a lot of fire wood.
Shoot game for food.
Trap some beavers, muskrats, fox, raccoons, etc. and sell the hides for money to buy more bullets.
It's easy.

Uhhmm you made it all complicated.

I would probably be happy in a sleeping bag or a box covered in pinestraw just anywhere in the woods near a Kroger or a municipal dump even.

I like the thought of animal skins and i kinda thought of a character I could develop around the use of such things as a form of casual dress in South Georgia in late July, but I have noticed a bounty of unclaimed coon skins on most roads around here.

By the way, anyone know how to wear an armadillo?

Sorry, I know, too complicated.
Here's better idea. Find a deserted tropical island.
Straw bed is perfect.
Eat coconuts, and dive for clams.
Armadillo speedos may work.
Make a spear, no bullets needed.

With the river otter/ magnifying glass scenario you have to allow for the heat sink effect of the water. Cow is much more doable. Just sneak up on a really sunny day, and focus the heat intently on the Chinese death spot behind the left ear. As your chi improves the mortality time goes down. and since it's a sunny day, start a nice fire and cook up a tasty steak. If you can arrange to do it near a beer tree, so much the better.
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?

Huh? Have you tasted river otter? Almost exactly like roseate spoonbill or chicken or bald eagle. You should try it!!

The other day I went fishing for blue whale in the river I dug here from the beach but I couldn't get plankton or an unsuspecting japanese trawler on my hook. I could live off sea gulls but i hate the beach.

I'm hungry.

I haven't tasted it personally, but my friend says it tastes like chicken. But then, doesn't everything?
By the way, what bait you using on those plankton? I wouldn't mind landing me a whale, but I can't take all that blubbering.

They are way too small for the hook and they don't have arms so they can't hang on.

We use a 12' john boat with an old 19hp motor on it and attack the whale with slashing moves from about 30° off his centerline. Best to find a tired whale and use a sharp prop. Takes all day.

Have you ever tried turducken? It tastes like a turd with an ucken crammed in it. In Africa I had elepotomion. It's a lion in a hippo in an elephant. They sell it on a stick at the malls. Gordon Ramsey would even like it.

Mmm, delicious!
