Dumble OD-100WR

Post by pyrsconr »

Hello,

I just joined the forum - I am living in Peterborough, Canada and I am 63 years old - playing guitar for a number of years now - still learning.

I have a specific question that I am hoping can be answered here.

A friend of mine has Dumble amplifier - specifically Dumble OD-100WR; - Serial Number 0081.

My friend purchased the amp from Howard directly (in Santa Cruz, CA) in 1980.

The amp is currently not working but in excellent condition otherwise.

I would like to arrange to have the amp checked out, repaired and then appraised for possible future sale.

The question very simply is this - who should I get in touch with to have this work done given the pedigree of this amp?

Many thanks in advance for whatever direction you can give me.

Please be sure that whoever you let look at your amp is completely vetted by the reputable people on this site.

I cannot recommend any amp tech in Canada however if you are willing to ship and insure the amp I would be happy to service and give you all the info you need for the sale..

Scared him right off.
I guess the threat of siccing Tony on him was too much.
