Hi Firestorm,
I used a Hammond 125A transformer in an amp. I needed the real estate on the inside of the chassis (no room for Kevin's transformer).
I was doing to build a stand alone reverb with a 12AT Self split PP alla KOC'S Tonnes of Tones book but haven't had time. The PP circuit would have less hum than the SE transformer introduces. Gingertube posted transformer less constant current reverb schematic and I want to use this as my next project.
This is pricey but a very robust reverb transformer used for the Fender Vibro king. Side note: it is awesome for replacing crap stock champ xformers, fits the same footprint and is good for 10 watts and has 8 ohm secondary@5.4k pri. I concur that as a reverb driver primary impedance is not critical, driving the springs is not rocket surgery:)
They are awesome for making a silver faced champ useful esp if you like to drive an 8ohm cab with a little more bottom end than the stock xformer. I usually put a 6l6gc in after installing this transformer and a standard output jack. There's a really cheap decent sounding 8" 8ohm Celestion that I put in them as well.

Hi,
Interesting transformer, but this is single ended Xform.
The derail of the post was for a Push Pull transformer alla self split dual 12A_7 triodes PP as in the AX84 firefly project.
