I tried to track my family heritage down but we are talking about people that were having home births well into the 1960's and probably didn't take kindlt to any cenus takers. There are so many Collins' here that land records get confusing quick.

I've been Trying to research if I'm related to this guy https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=21984 I can't find a link yet but most likely we are in some way.
While talking to my Aunt I discovered That my Great Great Grandfather Was DR. during the Northern Aggression .So I was wrong When I said I don' think anyone in My family had ever been to college.
Of course it could just be a made up story to cover up a drunken molester uncle in the family .

I thought it was compulsory to have at least 10 beers before posting.
Dagnamit - you mean I don't have to have 10 beers for breakfast ?
I'll give it a try, but if I start making sense please delete me.

And Geordie.
No-one ever asks but, it says "kiss my ass" in Irish/Gaelic.
(also the original name of the Irish band The Pogues)
Beer - it's not just for breakfast!

I speak hip. (How To Speak Hip an excellent early 60's comedy record, look it up and have a big laugh!) Cool, daddy-o!

I remember the early days. Pogue Mahoney was that band's name. So many ways of spelling Gaelic, nobody thought much of Mahoney until someone outside the band realized it was sort of a cheap pun, and their record company went red in the face, demanded a name change. There's so much worse out there, what a bunch of uptight xxxx's.

Say Bob, the original document of this thread now not showing up. Wha' happened?
down technical blind alleys . . .

They're only asking for trouble putting out a list like that.

I would do my best to converse at work using ONLY the banned phrases 8)

And if they didn't like it, I'd tell them to lick my bloody arse
