It's an overwhelming thought. Between my friend and I there are something over 300 pieces to find new homes. I have not been in the trading business in around 20 years. Lots of new assholes to meet and.. hate.

Do you want to be dealer or a guy selling stuff? Anything I ever bought a dealer I wanted to be as described and I wanted a look under the covers. Anything I bought from a guy (for less than dealer money), I took as is. You can maximize revenue or simplicity.

Ah but the list of songs recorded on Champs, no bore there. For a cheap "student" amp, what a success. Who could have predicted?

Late 80's local store offered a silver-face with SIR paint. They claimed it was the one Keef demanded when he came to town (NYC) to record. Asking $125. I thought that was too steep for a Champ, at the time double the going rate.

Is my dunce cap on straight? DOH! If I had that, and a letter of authenticity... which I could have got from Michael Johnson... oh perish the thought. Another missed opportunity. Some ya get, some ya miss.

Deluxe Reverb today. Fritters when wide open and idling but safe cable installed and filter caps doing the right thing. It sounds really good.

I am building a 1960 strat from parts. The guard is such a mess that I am going to epoxy it to the shield so it'll lay down. I haven't decided what color but leaning towards sherwood, lake placid, or sonic. Found the bridge today in the junk pile. A plus. Yay me.

Chew up a Tums, or if you can find 'em, Philips mint Milk-of-Magnesia tablets, just one or two. Works for me, usually. Yeah hot n humid weather just puts me off my feed. Lucky that's diminished up thisaway. Soon come snow.
