The 5e3 is a pretty easy circuit to build and it sounds great... It's rather difficult to screw up. Everyone builds at least a couple in their life, even if they don't ever build any other amps.
If we narrow down every guy that built a 5e3 to the ones with a sweetheart named Rachel, we likely still have thousands of possibilities. Good luck!

I've built 3 5e3s and I think I maybe once liked a girl named Rachel.

Did you see the ebay listing for the amp?

But you are right, not much on the web about him.

Gives a few details.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tweed-Deluxe-5E ... 0955962134

This is a hand-wired, boutique "Tweed Deluxe" guitar amp from Rachel Amplification. It is signed inside by the builder Brian R. Stallard, made in March 2012.

It's in MINT, like-new condition. This is an awesome amp - a faithful hand-built clone of a 5E3 Tweed Deluxe, and it sounds (and feels) amazing.
I just don't have a current need for it, so I'm looking to get cash to invest in other gear.

This has much higher quality components than a lot of the other tweed deluxe clones out there, (including the Fender reissues), and it's all hand-made with exceptional build quality.
Warehouse Guitar Speakers (WGS) "Black and Blue" 12" speaker

Tubes are a mix of N.O.S. (GE and ElectroHarmonix) and two new Tung-Sol 6V6s I just put in
All caps are Mallory, Sprague or F&T according to the previous owner
Ceramic tube sockets

Solid pine cabinet

Warm, full-bodied, clear, classic tweed tone. Crank it up and it gets that thick, rich, timeless tweed crunch with loads of complex harmonics, sustain and ringing overtones. Keith Richards, Neil Young, Mike Campbell/Tom Petty--it's all there. It's a killer blues, country and rock amp for gigging and recording. And it takes pedals really well too. Add your favorite od or boost pedal, and look out.
Tom

Don't let that smoke out!
