Take no notice of the rising water.Take no notice where rivers run dry.

It sucks for money when you are a sideshow freak. Nobody comes to the fair.

Sorry about your situation cbass.

We get a lot of rain here but it is spread out over the months.

If we get two or more inches over night, we flood too.

Keep one eye on the crick and one eye on your exit strategy.

Good luck!

I have a backpack 'go bag' packed for natural or man made disasters.

Flashlight, spare sidearm, first aid, copies of ID, numbers of contacts, some cash and some shiny things, water purification tabs. Iodine tabs, multi tool, etc.

Don't rely on luck, give yourself an edge.

Don't forget Tom, for our friend cbass that would be the same eye... I'm sure he's gonna be all right & family too, no matter what. Squirrel stew could be on the menu. ;)

Rainin' to beat the debbil up here in NY today. Never seen it like this. There's a minor river crossing my neighbor's lawn but that's all 30-40 ft altitude downslope. Count me lucky, my house is almost top of the hill. Hope you're OK today cbass, and all others too.
