Express standby/OT CT

Express standby/OT CT

As per the layout here, what's the reason to have the OT CT connected to the standby switch, as opposed to right at the 1K25W on the board(which would obviously goto the switch)?

The only thing I can think of is that Ken decided he would rather put two leads on the standby switch lug than into a single eyelet.
