Re: Disco
Disco is winning. Long live Disco!!
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.
Re: Disco
I still have a lil' angst against disco. The club I was playing at in '75 stopped paying for live music and converted to a disco club. We were the last band that played there.
Me, bitter?
You'd think that I'd get over it in 30 years or so...
I still won't watch any movies featuring John Travolta.

Anybody that does anything with quentin tarantino ends up on my blacklist, add queer and scientologist to it, and well...
You gotta figure all those actors were the annoying drama club kids at school, and most of the actresses are pretty plain jane at that. It's gonna take more than People magazine sayin' so to convince me that gweneth paltrow is the most beautiful woman alive.
I do have to say Disco fashion sucked, I alway dressed like a skater/greaser, in fact I still do, but when I was in elementary school and Junior High and all these dudes in satin shirts polyester bell bottoms and platform shoes said I was the nerd for wearing levis, t-shirts, and chuck taylors, it put me on the path of realizing most people have no brain in their heads.

Change your story to karaoke and tell me about it.

Hey cbass-
Did you ever forget your sneakers and have to wear cowboy boots with shorts to your gym class? I did that once during basketball- clomp clomp clomp clomp, and I'm not the only one
You haven't seen a majorly pissed-off type A preppy till you beat them in tennis wearing cowboy boots! (those same disco kids in the seventies were all preppies come the 80's).
Yeah being able to kick everybody's ass goes a long way when your in school to get away with stuff, now not so much.
