DaGeezer came up with the HoSo56 amp which I've built.
This is an off shoot of that using a switchable gain stage and on board FX that works well as a master volume.
So I named it the 56 PLUS since it was the HoSo56 plus another gain stage and plus the active on board FX. I thought it was unique enough that it might be worth sharing.
Amp cab needs a handle and the chassis isn't mounted in it yet.

5879 pentode for V1.
I'll try to take some gut shots later. It's not that impressive of wiring but the amp is very quiet.

Sorry, misunderstood the question.
I had to go look and see. It's a Slyvania. I have no idea what vintage? To be honest, I really don't pay much attention to the brand on the 5879's. I haven't found one that stands out above the others so far.
