I'm getting old...................

Shopping today at Safeway, the local big market.................

Over the PA Billy Idol's singing "White Wedding".

Old, older is when the rebellious music of one's youth becomes corporate MUZAK!

A couple of years ago Cadillac commercials featured Zep's Rock-n-Roll. It didn't make me feel so old, as it made me feel betrayed that Zep would sell out to promote a brand my generation considered bourgeois. Cadillac? Why not some cool car?

On the other hand ...... Lotus doesn't advertise on TV.

I'm with you there............... and a lot of bands sold or never had their rights etc. I think there was a Purple Haze Chevy commercial a while back, I was indignant.

What brand?
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Cadillac once used Purple Haze in a commercial. Damn you Janie.

Caddy. Very exciting. Nice try. I like the wedgy cars, but not for or at the excitement level that pretends.

RnR doesn't speak for any car newer than a 60 model 62 coupe in a small flake burgandy, silver, or shoreline color.

Maybe a 275GTB/C oh yeah.. or a stolen Muira maybe. Yes, yes I am feeling it. Windows cocked open, rush of wind, knees hitting the front of the steering wheel and my knuckles bleeding from dash rash. Were pre-1980 italians like 4' tall with 4' arms? Brilliant.

ROFL :D

There's a story that went around here some years ago....
Two old geezers sat on a bench, and a rather flashy new compact car passed by. What car was that? - the first one asked. I think it was a Honda, says the second.... Naah - not a Honda , - maybe a Mitsubishi , the first one replies.......
Huh- says you who has proper teeth.........

Baby don't got back?

Sex sells.

You have all probably seen the TV commercial where the plumbers come to the door and the house wife answers the door bell.

One guy says, I'm here to snake your drain.
The other guys says, And I'm here to flush your pipe.

When my wife and I saw that for the first time, we looked at each other and
said, did we just hear what we thought we heard?

Man...........can you imagine even ten years ago if they had aired that?

There are a few things we don't want to see on TV around dinner time.

No feminine hygiene products.

No Erectile Dysfunction ads.

No catheter commercials.

No sex lubricant commercials.

No dildo commercials (Trojan Twister)

Give me a break.
