Sorry to hear the man is not well,I was aware he was sick,but any new health problems he had, I had no clue.

Thanks for your kind offer,but these are not life or death questions......I belive I have the answer to them, just wanted to get the mans opinon.

He's very lucky to have friends that are looking out for him,thanks again

I do have his phone number I recently found it amongst a whole lot of stuff I had to clear out of my locker.

I believe that still have the number though as I live in Australia I didn't think I'd ever be calling him, so I may have chucked it.

I'll have a look and try sending it to you. I do for reasons unknown have real difficulties with your email address so you may have to be patient.

Thats your decision.
I'm just letting you know that he might not get to everyones calls as he bounces back to health.

The questions I have are not specific to his amp designs................again just the man's opion is all I'm after.

As a side note . Kenny doesn't own a computer , however he is appreciative of the interest and admiration of what he is passionate about . Just a suggestion , you can send him some snail mail . Keep it classy and don't be afraid to give him some support . Tell him how he inspired you , and what your path has entailed . Even send him a cassette of your playing . Ken loves musicians and poured his heart into his work and essentially a support system of such evolved in his workshop at his house in N.J. I remember all the time having to go to his place with my buddies to get work done or hang or visit with him or other musicians . He is a music lover at heart . He has been struggling for a while whith his health unfortunately , however , you can lift his spirits an awful lot if you take this into consideration . A little thanks can go a long way , David

I just read your series of postes,some very good info there for sure, Thank-you for shareing.

I was able to get Kens #..........I won't call until after the holidays......by then maybe he will have gotten some rest and be up for a chat !!!!!!

I have a story I was gonna share with him that I will share with you all.
About 14 years ago or so......I was just starting to get into repairing and modding amps for a hobby........I came across a 65 Deluxe reverb that had some noise issues....I called Ken and presented my problem and he was very,very, helpful.....talked me through some parts to change and some to check......he also said to call him back if what he gave me didn't work.

At the time he was probably backed up with orders and repairs that I'm sure he knew he'd never get done and yet he still took the time to explain to a novice how to repair the amp in question.

It made a big impression on me......for sure......I had techs in my own home town tell me "they weren't running an engineering class" and they wouldn't help......or they would for $30/hr.

But Ken was very helpful and I never forgot it................
