Schematic software

Post by badoumba »

Hi guys!

What's your approach for designing an amplifier? Does anyone uses a schematic software which can simulates current/voltage values? If so, anyone to recommend?
I know that components'final values are to be adjusted once the amplifier up and running but we need something to start with, don't we?

Thx

Spice Similator has long been a favorite among designers.

I haven't used it so not sure how well it works with tube amps.

Pretty good - bought the 'gold' license a decade ago.
Then switched to Mac and haven't touched it in 5 years.
Worked well last I used it.
