I have a small hammond pt its heater winding are rated @ 2A
im wondering if i'd be ok running 2 el84 and maybe a ef86 or 5879
and a 12ax7 which = 2.1A, would over taxing by .1A burn the transformer
out? the HV current is 120mA, thanks mark

Hammond transformers are generally thought to be conservatively rated. I wouldn't think pushing their published spec by 5% will cause trouble.
