Is this going on everywhere or just West Michigan?? WTF, our gas has been over $4 for about a month now. And to top it off the wife drags me to the store and Spartan OJ was over $6 a gallon.
Woke up filled with doom and the feeling no matter how hard I work I just keep going backwards. Paid $5K in monthly business taxes yesterday, no new amps or parts for me this month.
thank god its $1 taco day today, hopefully I can burn out my headache with hot sauce.
It's bad alright. But it could be worse. You could be here, in New York State, with the highest overall taxation in the nation. The county I live in is in the Top Ten for highest property taxes nationwide, and yet the streets are not paved in gold ...... they are paved in potholes.

I drink OJ everyday and have noticed it going up and some shortages.
It's not that high here yet but seems to be headed in that direction.
We're more like $3.70 for gas and $5.30 for OJ. I like me some OJ. Been having to drink the cheap stuff lately. Price of everything in the grocery store has been escalating for quite some time now.
It appears our food and water supply is teetering on disaster.
Yes, we have noticed big price increases in groceries this past year.
Our gas prices fluctuate but currently $3.69. gal.
It had been as high as $3.94 a week or so ago.
Ever notice if the price of a barrel of oil goes up a couple bucks, the price at the pump immediately goes up.
Then when the barrel price comes down, it takes a month or more for the pump price to come down.
Remember when you could buy three bags of groceries for about $40-45?
Now it seems each bag is about $30 or more.
In the mean time, anybody got an increase in wages lately?
We're struggling with only my wife's income right now and we go deeper in debt every month.
This nation is circling the drain, when is enough, enough?
One of the good things about living in NJ (there aren't many) are the gas prices. Today they range from $3.21 to $3.60/ gallon in my area. I live about 20 mins from the southern most tip of NY Which is Staten Island (part of NYC). Gas there is ALWAYS at least 30 to 40 cents a gallon more expensive.

My guess? Enough is enough when this entire nation has been reduced to a pile of rubble and smoldering cinders. Maybe then, our effin idiots in office will realize GREED was not the answer.
