Hah! Had a DOH moment there. I don't sell tubes. Thing does give a good indication of a good one versus a not so good one though, but I wouldn't sell NOS stuff anyway. I have too much of a problem letting go.

Unfortunately the guy who was making these it's not longer with us, so I guess this testers can't be purchased anymore.
Mine can go up to 450V plate and there were many models... unfortunately not longer available.

You run the same setup as I have. You will be very happy.
Word of advice. Use the maximatcher for fault testing before the Amplitrex. I've blown up my Amplitrex from a shorting EL34.

Fire on the bench is always exciting. Good customer service. It was fixed and back on the bench in a week. I forget if it was a software or power short that made it into a portable camp stove... But since you have the ability to test I recommend doing it.

Lets see what else... Computer mode.. Read the directions you have to open the windows in a certain order for proper testing. The brother label maker is awesome as well as printable test results. Download a .pdf print converter so you can convert the data sheets to email without a scanner.... Don't forget file maintenance when you save.. Label and make file folders so you can go back and find what you are looking for.
Last ... Make sure you select the correct tube and test. If not it will run the test anyway on most tubes. I've fried a few tubes that had lost the silk screening. Guess that they were.
