It wants me to paint it blue!
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

I did that with a spraycan at some point. Not kidding. It came with a poly clear finish on the body so the spraycan thing was fair game... I should have pics of that somewhere, but I will need to scan them before I can post those. It looked great!
Someone said Les Paul
Here is my R9 2007 with original 1960 PAF in Neck and 68 T Top with PAF screws in bridge. Pigtail, Centralab pots and CDE caps. I rolled the edge of the binding , feels a bit closer to vintage. It's a tone machine.

Bought in 1945 and has the number 155 stamped inside. Has block inlays and stenciled head stock. No cracks anywhere.

Yup, you want to use phospher bronze strings on a box like that. I used to hane an Epilepsyphone acoustic archtop. It was a 1937 IIRC. Neck angle shifted a bit over the years and I had it re-set by the luthier who makes my archtop guitars. After that, it not only sounded great (as it did when I bought it), but it played great too. Those old boxes are really special.

Nice nice acoustic. These old boxes really are special. I know what you mean, I have a 1943 Gibson that is in storage in Europe. I love that thing. That Gretch looks like a lot of fun.

A 43 would make it a banner era Gibson.
