Alternating hot biased and cold biased gain stages

Wondering if you guys have played through an amp with this type of topology. For example, V1 is warm, V2 cold, V3 warm, etc... The idea being to intentionally distort one side of the wave more than the other by taking advantage of cutoff clipping, grid clipping, and phase inverting. How does it sound?
