If it makes you feel any better, here is my best sounding amp. Been looking for a reason to post what became of it.

Wow I hate to say it, but that Super build is making my first 5E3 build look pretty damn good. I used an actual turret in every hole... But...

I wouldn't fret, Manticus. Reel's right, what's in there can be fixed and laid out good as new with some TLC. Just need a good builder. Just don't listen to what Reel says about your joints... We can get you some freshly rolled, no problem. 8)

C'mon fellas! Don't let me get away with wiring plates over signal with 9oz of wire scraps. Has to be a 10" round trip x3! Look at my Sozo teepee. Jees. Look at the CF 100k. No way this amp works..

Can I rent that Sozo teepee for a weekend with my girlfriend? We've been wanting to vacation for some time and haven't been able to decide where.

Well, the original owner/builder got back with me. He's out of town until Friday, but he offered to take it back or fix it for me  I think I'll get my money back and build my own.

The joints are awful!
FWIW, I concur. You'll spend some time sucking solder out of that build. You can just clip out the wires as you won't be reusing those. BTW, I'm an amateur. The person who did that is a "beginner" not an amateur. Amateur looks like this.

If you can get your money back, awesome. If you've got the scratch, there are SOOOO many options for you and since you're already on TAG, even better. Figure out what tubes you like most and build an amp with those. If you're a beginner, start off with no more than two power tubes in your amp and probably only a couple 12AX7s (Or whatever tubes you like) at the most. So many great minds here on TAG so ask any and all questions you may have. Good luck and welcome to the club! :)
