Love/Hate Sozo...

I ordered 2... As in TWO, you know, DOS capacitors on March 1st. One of them is the 'Hand Made' .068 and the other is their generic .68. I simply forgot to add them to my last order. Every time they ship I get an email... No email yet. Seriously, it's two caps!

You could just ask on the forum and I bet someone has a piece or two of things like that on hand.

There's no fuss about one of each. I actually just last minute opted for the .68 cathode cap for popping a couple EL34s in the Bassman build with a SS rect. I do happen to need the .068. You got a problem with Sozo? Well they sound better than...

I do like the Blue ones in some builds I've done. I just wish they had more values. Those take even longer than the Mustards, I think.

Finally got the email! They're on their way. It's like reverse jinxing with them. I used to call them when they were taking a while, they wouldn't answer, and the following day I'd get the shipping notice. Maybe John's on the Amp Garage.

I ordered some blue caps for a Vibroverb on 3/3 and received them today. I've had good luck with lead times from Sozo over he past year, some orders as quick as 7-8 days with most around 2 weeks.

I got mine today. For some reason, other items from Florida get here in about half the time as the Sozo stuff. And man, that .68 is huge!
